This rice spoon is made out of coconut shells and kitul palm. Traditionally this kind of spoons was used to serve rice in Sri Lanka. Rice being the main staple food in Sri Lanka was one of the main kitchenware that was used. Coconut shells used to make this spoon has been polished until the natural shine appears. Chemicals have not been used to polish this spoon. The ladles of this spoon are made out of kithul palm wood and carved in a unique design giving this spoon this unique design. The techniques that were used to make this spoon ensures that this product has long durability. coconut shells and kithul palm wood which is used to make this rice spoon is known to be an Eco friendly, safe, and non-toxic material.
